2021 Domaine Vacheron, Sancerre, Les Romains

One of the original single-vineyard bottlings (1997 first vintage), Romains is now a 40+ year old vineyard of pure silex soils, providing the trademark spicy-smoky tones to the wine. Fermented with indigenous yeasts in upright wooden casks, racked once, and returned to age for one year.
