This is a rare, fruity find from Sicily, Frappato bursts with aromas of sweet red berries and incense spice. You might not know the variety Frappato, but this is the perfect intro! It’s a hearty wine, yet one that shows freshness and zest as well. Red fruits, gravel, plenty of floral notes. Think Pinot Noir, but with a Sicilian attitude. Loads of redcurrant and cherry, charcoal and tang. Balanced between rich and fresh.
