Eric Pfifferling’s Lirac is a blend of about half Grenache blanc, Grenache noir, Grenache gris, and almost equal parts Mourvedre, and Clairette sourced from vineyards in close proximity to Avignon. The terroir boasts a rich tapestry of white clay, gravel, sand, and limestone soils. Through an extended period of carbonic maceration, this wine boasts vibrant fruit flavors like pomegranate and cherry, elegantly balanced by lovely acidity and concentration.
