Old-vine Pinot Noir (with a splash of Pinot Beurot – old vine plots often had it interspersed) entirely from Marsannay plots planted in 1932 (En Blungey), 1934 (Champforeys), and 1949 (Charme Aux Prêtres). The juice undergoes a 2-3 day maceration before being removed from the skins. After fermentation with its indigenous yeasts, the wine is aged in 15% new oak barrels for about 12-24 months.
