The RR cuvée, short for “Riesling from Red soil,” originates from a tiny 0.8-acre plot of red soil surrounded by limestone soils with just a little bit of RS. The RR is characterized as an intense white wine with a deeper mineral and concentrated expression, showcasing nuances of wet stones, tobacco, moist earth, and clay on the nose. As Klaus Peter Keller describes it, this wine is “for wine geeks only.”
