The 2023 Edition of Angel’s Envy Cask Strength Port Finished Kentucky Straight Bourbon is the 12th iteration in this prized series and the first crafted under the watchful eye of the new Master Distiller, Owen Martin. Finished through an intricate process utilizing Port wine barrels imported from Portugal, Angel’s Envy 2023 Port Finish is first matured for a minimum of 6 years in American oak. The distillate is then aged for an additional 14 months in the Port wine casks and bottled at 118.2-proof. Released in a limited run of just 22,656 bottles, this decadent bourbon is composed of an undisclosed mash bill estimated to contain 72% corn, 18% rye, and 10% malted barley.
