Astrolabe Chenin Blanc Wrekin Vineyard 2020 – 750ml

Critic tasting note: (2020 vintage) “This is an ultra-perfumed and highly likable Chenin that shows the variety, but walks to its own Kiwi beat. Its perfume is a heady combo of florals like honeysuckle and jasmine, alongside citrus, melon and white peach and citrus notes. It softens as it warms in glass. The palate is medium weight, with a delicately slippery texture, tangy acidity, and melon and citrus fruit billowing out to the finish. Would find a warm welcome aside cheese boards and, indeed, anything cheese related.
