The attack is full, powerful and succulent, while attractively mature tannins give the mid-palate a natural smoothness, revealing ripe berry fruit flavors together with delicate notes of fresh spice. The wine then expresses its full aromatic complexity, between notes of blackberry, bilberry and blackcurrant and flavors of mocha, toast and toasted almonds.
