Fire Road Sauvignon Blanc 2018

A lifted nose showing aromas of passion fruit, white peach and kiwi fruit with refreshing herbal and mineral notes. Light-bodied and refreshing with typical Marlborough flavours of passion fruit, gooseberry and grapefruit. A pleasing herbaceous thread leads to a long lingering finish. This wine starts off somewhat reductively and with the variety’s typical honeyed tropical and passion fruit aromas. The palate feels a touch disjointed, with searing acidity cutting through a touch of residual sugar and fruit weight.
