A Trail of Smoke’ forms part of House of Hazelwood’s Autumn 2022 Collection. The release is a 42-year-old blended malt, and limited to only 385 bottles.
Nose: “Surprisingly light on the nose, with subtle citrus aromas and a fresh hint of sea salt.”
Palate: “The peat only becomes noticeable on the palate, through distinctive maritime notes and a gentle layer of smoke.”
Finish: Quite delicate and smooth texture on the long finish.

Today, the House of Hazelwood collection has grown to become the greatest inventory of aged Scotch whisky held anywhere in the world.
