This exceptional blend comprises 50% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 40% Cabernet Franc. Its captivating profile includes notes of currants, blackberries, complemented by hints of rosemary and flowers. Transitioning into a full-bodied character, this wine offers a decadent interplay of fruit, rich meat, and leather, resulting in a long and incredibly flavorful experience.

This wine displays a concentrated brilliant red hue, accompanied by elegant and intricate aromas. Despite its full-bodied nature and velvety tannins, it exudes a nuanced charm, making it approachable immediately after uncorking. Crafted from the finest grapes not used in Greppicaia, our Greppicante boasts a higher Merlot content, contributing to its softer profile.

Vinification involves a meticulous process, including alcoholic fermentation and 30 days of maceration on skins in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of 28°C. Subsequent malolactic fermentation takes place in French oak barrels. The wine then ages for 12 months in 2 and 3-year-old French oak barrels, followed by an additional 6 months in bottles.
