Derived from extremely small batches of just 16 barrels each, J Henry & Sons Small Batch 5 year old Straight Bourbon is authentic small batch whiskey masterfully blended and slowly aged to perfection. Composed of a 4-grain mash bill containing primarily locally-sourced heirloom grains, namely; 60% red heirloom corn, 14% heirloom winter wheat, 14% heirloom Spooner rye, and 12% malted barley – this select bourbon is barrel aged a minimum of 5 years in #3 char barrels and bottled at very quaffable 92 proof. J Henry & Sons Small Batch 5 year was initially launched in 2015 and is offered in highly-curated quantities as an ongoing limited release from the distillery.
