Legent is the first-of-a-kind collaboration between the two sides of the Beam Suntory production team. It begins with Kentucky Straight Bourbon distilled by Jim Beam’s seventh-generation Master Distiller Fred Noe which is aged for at least 4 years. The mature whiskey is finished in two types of wine cask, sherry and red wine, to develop characters and flavors not typically seen in a standard bourbon. These two whiskies are then meticulously blended with other older Kentucky Straight Bourbons by Suntory’s fifth-generation Chief Blender Shunji Fukuyo. The coming together of two great whiskey companies, two historic traditions, and two true masters. The result marries the flavors of Kentucky with the aesthetic of Japanese. Bottled at an exhilarating 94-proof, the perfect balance of finesse and full flavor.
