Each barrel of Penelope Four Grain is hand-selected for the utmost of quality and is blended with the distillery’s proprietary 3-tier bourbon mash bill said to be composed of a marriage of 4-grain wheat and rye bourbons – each individually aged before being blended and bottled. Matured for a minimum of 2 years in charred barrels with #4 staves and #2 heads, Penelope Four Grain is finished to a barrel strength of 40% ABV. The first release of this exceptionally quaffable whiskey yielded approximately 1,900 bottles and was launched in late 2018 – early 2019. …
