Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi Zinfandel begins with aromas of sweet blackberry and raspberry plus a little spice and pepper. This smooth, medium-bodied wine exhibits similar flavors as the nose when tasting: sweet berries plus minor notes of spice and vanilla. The wine has a small amount of spicy tannins on the medium-short finish. Overall not very complex and not much depth but still good and easy to drink. This medium-bodied wine serves up jammy aromas and fresh berry flavors lightly accented by oak spices. It’s relatively simple but well balanced and tasty.
