2022 Peter Lauer, Lambertskirch GG Auktion, Mosel

A formerly famous vineyard from centuries earlier, Lauer reinvigorated this land with cuttings from his oldest vineyards. While just shy of 20 years of age, the vines produce a wonderfully complex wine already, which as of 2020 was available to a select few collectors. Great density, phenomenal power for a Riesling and one to lay down and cherish.
