Buffalo Trace Distillery is known the world over for offering some of the most prestigious and collectible whiskeys on the market – and OFC Old Fashion Copper is up there as one of the most superior of these iterations. Vintage dated according to the specific year in which the bourbon was distilled at Buffalo Trace Distillery, these excruciatingly rare releases are named after the National Historic Landmark’s original name – O.F.C Distillery. Released in 2018 with just 822 bottles, the 1983 Vintage has patiently aged for 25 years before being bottled at 90-proof. The packaging of the O.F.C. 1993 Vintage captures the splendor of the whiskey itself, housed in hand-cut crystal bottles with in-laying cut copper lettering to spell out “O.F.C.” on the front. The bottle is also adorned with a paper label prominently displaying the vintage year and a label on the back of the bottle denoting the milestones of that year. The 1993 Vintage memorializes Michael Jordan leading the Chicago Bulls to their third consecutive NBA championship, Bill Clinton being sworn in as the 42nd President of the United States, the television debut of X-Files and release of Jurassic Park, the 1993 Storm of the Century and the World Wide Web becoming available to everyone. …
